Mala Beads
Mala Beads – A Timeless Practice of Intention & Presence
Rooted in ancient tradition, Mala beads have long been used in Dharmic practices such as Buddhism to recite and count mantras, guiding the mind into stillness and deeper awareness.
A full Mala is composed of 108 beads, a sacred number symbolising spiritual completion and the journey inward. Smaller variations — including 54, 27, and 9 bead Malas — are all factors of 108, offering the same spiritual significance in more compact forms for everyday use.
Each Mala is finished with a Guru bead, marking the beginning and end of the cycle. This bead is not included in the count and serves as a quiet reminder of intention, reflection, and presence.
Our collection brings together a range of carefully selected materials — from natural woods to grounding stones — each chosen not only for its beauty, but for its unique energy and meaning. Whether you are drawn to the calming warmth of wood or the strength and clarity of stone, each Mala is designed to support your personal practice.
Traditionally used in meditation, Malas can also be worn as a necklace or bracelet, allowing you to carry a sense of calm, balance, and intention with you throughout the day.
A practice. A ritual. A daily return to stillness.
