The Begleri, born in Athens in the 1960s and services from the Komboloi as the youth wanted something to fidget with yet at the time the Komboloi had negative connotations as it was associated with the underworld.
Currently the Begleri is known world wide as a skill toy and an every day carry fidget item across all cultures and to aid with anxiety and stress.
