Onyx & Emerald 21 Bead Komboloi / Worry Beads

Onyx: 

The name comes from the Latin word onyx which means ‘claw’.  It is known a as the stone of self control.  It is a useful stone in times of confusion.

It is usually found in Australia, Argentina, Brazil, Czech Republic, Madagascar and Germany.

In the ancient world the ancient Egyptians believed emerald la to be a source for eternal life, while the ancient Greeks and Roman’s attributed the gemstone to the goddess Aphrodite (Venus).
