Before the introduction of modern cordage, silk was the traditional material used to string Komboloi. Renowned for its smooth feel and elegant drape, it creates a uniquely refined handling experience.

Often referred to as the stone of self-control, onyx is traditionally linked to resilience, focus, and clarity during times of uncertainty. Its name is derived from the Latin word onyx, meaning “claw,” symbolising strength and protection.

Sourced from regions including Australia, Brazil, Madagascar, and Germany, each bead carries subtle natural variation, adding to the individuality of every piece.
